Sell on Maker Row
Keep what
you earn.
A marketplace that only admits makers, charges one number, and gives you a storefront that works as your website. Five percent per sale. Nothing else unless you buy it.

One number
5% per sale.
That's the whole fee page.
No listing fee. No renewal fee. No mandatory offsite ads. No fee to get paid. Card processing is Stripe's at cost, passed straight through. The rate is the same on every plan and never changes with less than 90 days' notice.
Your storefront
A profile that is actually your website.
makerrow.com/@you opens on your cover photo, your name, your work. Our chrome is one thin line. Send your Instagram there and stop paying Squarespace for a site you never update.

Link-in-bio page
makerrow.com/@you/links: your links, your newest work, one tall list for Instagram and TikTok.
Post this
Every listing exports a 1080×1350 image and a caption with the link. Instagram in two taps, no API to get revoked.
Followers get an email
When you list new work, people who follow you hear about it. That is the only notification in the product.
Paid in two days
Stripe Express handles payouts, tax forms and disputes. Maker Row never holds your money.
Why it stays real
Slower than open signup. That is the point.
Etsy drifted because anyone could list anything. Here a person reads every application, and buyers can see the difference on every page.

- 01
Tell us what you make
Two or three sentences in your own words. Materials, process, how long you've been at it.
- 02
Show the work in progress
Three to five photos: the bench, the kiln, the hands. Finished-product photos alone aren't enough; a reseller can't fake the middle.
- 03
Point to where it already lives
Instagram, a site, an Etsy shop, a market you've shown at. One link is enough.
- 04
Take the handmade pledge
You design and make what you list, and you disclose any production partner per listing. A reviewer answers within 48 hours. Approved shops carry the verified mark and the date they joined.
Plans
The 5% never changes. A plan buys a storefront that's yours.
Most makers never need more than Maker. Studio is for the maker who wants their own domain and the tools they'd otherwise rent from three other companies.

Questions makers ask
Can I sell on Etsy and Maker Row at the same time?
Yes. Many makers keep Etsy for its search traffic and send their own audience here, where they keep more of each sale.
I use a production partner for part of my work. Is that allowed?
If you design it and disclose the partner on the listing, yes. The “Made with” field is public, so the honest case for outsourcing stays honest.
What about sales tax?
Maker Row is the marketplace facilitator. Stripe Tax collects and remits at checkout, so you don't file in forty states.
Do you build variations, messaging, or reviews?
Not yet, on purpose. A listing is one thing; make another listing. Email is the thread. Verified makers plus photos do the trust work. We add features when makers ask in numbers.
What happens if I'm declined?
You get a one-line reason and can reapply with more process photos or links. Most declines are missing context, not missing craft.
